Re: CODE EXCHANGE TERMS OF USE

Hi Blag.

Ok I understand what you say.

However even if its of topic, I need to say, that I disagree with your thoughts about who code belongs to.

I am an ABAP artist. ABAP is my art - just as paintings are the the art produced by a painter.

The client who buys my "paintings" can do with them what they like. They own that specific version of the "painting" and can  modify, sell, copy or even destroy it if they like.

But the "painting" is my intellectual property. I can sell an exact copy of the same ABAP code to another client the next day - unless of course the code contains some kind of confidential material, knowledge, or information supplied by the client and covered by a non-disclosure. agreement. In my 25+ years as programmer I have never integrated that kind of confidential material, knowledge, or information into code. And I have actually also never signed any of the non-disclosure agreements that clients have presented to me.

PS. I look forward to see what Code exchange 2.0 is about.
